How to Spot AI-Generated Porn
· PornFaceID TeamAI-generated porn is everywhere now. Cheap generators flood tube sites and social feeds with fully synthetic photos and videos of fake creators who never existed, and with face swaps where a real person's face is pasted onto someone else's body without consent.
That leaves two risks: believing a fake is real, and sharing a non-consensual swap that uses someone's face against their will. This guide shows how to spot the fakes, how to handle suspected face swaps, and how face search helps you check the true source of any porn photo or video.
Visual red flags of AI-generated porn
No single detail proves a photo is AI-made, because generators fix old mistakes fast. Look for several of these together:
- Hands, teeth, ears, jewelry. Extra fingers, melted fingers, teeth blending into lips, mismatched earrings, glasses melting into skin.
- Waxy skin, smeared details. Fully synthetic faces often have smooth, poreless skin on the face but smeared texture on the neck, shoulders, and background.
- Light that disagrees. Face lit from the left, catchlights in the eyes from the right, body shadows falling another way.
- Broken background. Warped text, unreadable tattoos, bedsheets and bathroom tiles melting into bodies, straight lines bending around hips.
- Video tells. Lips slightly out of sync, blinking too rare or too mechanical, hair edges flickering, moles or tattoos drifting between cuts.
Beware of face swap porn
A face swap takes a real person's face (a streamer, an actress, an ex, a classmate) and grafts it onto someone else's body. The body looks real because the footage is real; only the face is fake.
Beware of this pattern: a familiar face, but no verifiable creator profile behind it, posted by an anonymous account, often with comments off. If that person never shot porn, it is non-consensual imagery made with their face against their will. Do not share it, do not re-upload it to public forums to "check" it, and report it with the platform's non-consensual-intimacy option. In many countries making or sharing face swap porn is illegal even when no money is involved.
What a face search can and cannot tell you
Disclosure: we run PornFaceID face search. Here is what it honestly does:
It can:
- Compare a visible face against our database of public creator profiles and return possible matches with scores.
- Test a claim. If an account says "I'm creator X" but the face keeps matching a different creator in our database, or matches nobody in the database at all, that is evidence.
- Expose the source trail: linked profiles where you compare other photos, videos, tattoos, body type, and posting history.
It cannot:
- Declare "100% AI" or "100% real." No face search can. A fully synthetic face matches nobody because it is nobody; a good face swap matches the victim, not the body.
- Find private people. Our database covers public creators only, so a no-match does not mean the face is fake, only that it is not a known creator in our database.
- Fix a bad input. Blur, extreme angles, masked faces, or faces under ~100px give weak results either way. See the better search results guide first.
Treat every match as a lead to verify, never as a verdict. One score proves nothing; agreement across many photos and linked profiles proves a lot.
How to check the source with PornFaceID
- Crop one clear face, frontal, evenly lit. For video, pause on the cleanest frame.
- Drop it on the PornFaceID search homepage. No account needed; see the privacy policy for how uploaded search images are handled.
- Read the pattern, not just the top score:
- Steady high scores to one creator with a long posting history → likely real; confirm on their linked profiles.
- Repeated no-matches on clear frontal faces plus the visual red flags above → fits a fully synthetic persona.
- Strong match to a mainstream actress, influencer, or private person with zero creator history → treat as a possible face swap and do not spread it.
- Cross-check outside the search. Does this "creator" have months of consistent posts, matching tattoos and voice, verified platform badges? Fake personas rarely survive that check. See how face search works.
Stop when the evidence disagrees instead of promoting the closest candidate to confirmed.
The bottom line
Treat any photo or video without a verifiable source as possibly AI-generated or face-swapped until proven otherwise. Watch for visual artifacts, distrust familiar non-creator faces in explicit contexts, and use face search on the PornFaceID search homepage as an investigation lead, not as a detector.
If a face swap uses your face or someone you know, save the URLs, report on the host platform, and do not re-post the images to ask around.
